Biography
Professor Fatumbi is the Director of Research and Innovation at the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA), overseeing the strategic developmeent and implementation of numerous research and development activities across Africa. Professor Fatunbi specializes in farming systems agronomy and soil fertility, and has over 20 years of professional expertise in agricultural research and development. Prof. Fatunbi holds a PhD in Farming Systems Agronomy/Soil Fertility from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. Professor Fatunbi serves on Steering Committees for several continental programs, helping to develop strategic pathways and policy issues. Professor Fatunbi serves on the United Nations High-Level Panel of Experts on Agroecology.
