Biography
Professional Summary: Professor Ketlhatlogile Mosepele is a renowned scholar in wildlife and aquatic sciences, with deep expertise in fisheries biology and management. He holds a PhD, MPhil, and Postgraduate Diploma in Fisheries Biology and Management from the University of Bergen, as well as a BSc in Agriculture from New Mexico State University. With over 100 scientific outputs, including journal articles, books, book chapters, and technical reports, he is widely respected in his field.
For over three decades, he has contributed significantly to research, teaching, and institutional development in Botswana and internationally. Appointed Vice Chancellor of BUAN in 2022, he previously held senior academic and leadership roles at BUAN and the University of Botswana, including nine years in executive management at the Okavango Research Institute. He is passionate about leveraging higher education for socio-economic transformation in the global South.
