Prof. Justine Namaalwa

Biography
Namaalwa, a Female Ugandan and an Associate Professor at the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences in Makerere University, Uganda. She Holds a PhD in Forest Economics from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. She is a Prolific Researcher in the areas of Natural Resources Management, Environmental sustainability and Green Growth, and, a mentor to several Graduate and Undergraduate students, as well as University Alumni.
Justine is the Head, Department of Environmental Management; and the Co-ordinator of the Mastercard Foundation initiatives at Makerere University (the Scholars Program, the E-learning initiative, and the Africa Climate Collaborative) to ensure complementarity. She is the Director of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Makerere University.
