University of Zambia (UNZA) 

The University of Zambia (UNZA) was established by Act of Parliament No. 66 of 1965. The first intake of students took place on 17th March 1966. The motto of the University, SERVICE AND EXCELLENCE has guided the development of the University since its inception.

UNZA is situated in Lusaka on two campuses. The main campus is the Great East Road Campus and it is situated on the Great East Road, 6km from the town center. The other campus is the Ridgeway Campus catering for the Medical School. It is situated on John Mbita Road, 4km South East of Lusaka, opposite the University Teaching Hospital. Read more

Kapasa Makasa University 
Kapasa Makasa University is located along the Great North Road in Mulakupikwa Village, north of Chinsali. It was initially intended as a police training facility, named Chinsali Combined Staff Training College, during Zambia’s first Republic under the Ministry of Home Affairs. On 29th July 1996, Cabinet transferred the facility from the Ministry of Home Affairs to the Ministry of Education. The land extent then was about 200 Hectares. A committee was later appointed by then His Excellency President Levy Mwanawasa to recommend to government what the facility was to be used for.  Read more 

The Copperbelt University
The Copperbelt University is a public university established through Act of Parliament No. 19 of 1987. It currently operates from five campuses: Riverside Main Campus along Jambo Drive, Parklands Campus, Ndola Campus, Kapasa Makasa Campus and TAZARA Campus. The TAZARA campus is currently offering only Railway, Mechanical and Electromechanical Engineering. These campuses are located in suburban areas in the cities of Lusaka, Kitwe, Ndola and Chinsali in the Copperbelt and Muchinga Provinces of Zambia. Read more

Mulungushi University (MU)

Mulungushi University is one of Zambia’s three public University with the vision of leading innovative, relevant and reputable University of excellence in Africa and globally. It comprises of three (3) campuses; the Great North Road Campus located 26 kilometers North of Kabwe, on the banks of Mulungushi River, the Kabwe Town Campus located along Mubanga Road, off Munkoyo Street in the heart of Kabwe town, and the Livingstone Medical School located at Livingstone General Hospital in the heart of Livingstone City.
